20份辣椒种质资源对白绢病的抗性评价
Evaluation of Resistance to Southern Blight in Chili Germplasm Resources

Abstract
Southern blight,caused by Sclerotium rolfsii Sacc.,is a major soil-borne fungal disease affecting peppers in Hunan Province.Cultivating resistant varieties is the most cost-effective method for controlling this disease.In this study,20 commonly cultivated pepper cultivars in Hunan were evaluated for their resistance to Southern blight using an indoor inoculation method on pepper seedlings.The results showed that there were significant differences in resistance to southern blight among different pepper cultivars.Among them,2 cultivars,Zhenxiangla 2 and Changyan Qingxiang,were highly resistant;6 cultivars,such as Zhouxian 1 and Shaxi were resistant;2 cultivars,Qingxiang 2 and Changyan 15 were moderately resistant;4 cultivars,such as Laboshi 18 and 21PZ56 were susceptible;and 6 cultivars,such as Xianjiao No.9 and Gongxi were highly susceptible.These findings provide valuable insights for selecting southern blight-resistant pepper varieties and optimizing pepper production in Hunan Province.关键词
