大果型朝天椒新品种'权御天下'的选育
Breeding of a New Large-Fruited Pod Pepper F1 Hybrid'Quanyutianxia'

Abstract
In the pursuit of breeding a new high-quality chili pepper variety,Anhui Jintai Seed Co.,Ltd.utilized the cytoplasmic male sterile line JT102A as the maternal parent and the inbred line JT20-10 as the paternal parent to create a F1 hybrid combination.Through experimental evaluation and selection,the new large-fruited pod pepper,named'Quanyutianxia',was developed.This variety is of medium maturity,with a total growth period of 180 days and an initial harvesting period of 60 days.The plants exhibit vigorous growth and a compact form.The first flower appears at the 18th node,with an average plant height of 80.0 cm and a plant spread of 70.0 cm.The fruit is bullet-shaped with a glossy appearance,dark green when immature,and turns red upon ripening.The average fruit length is 9.0 cm,with a diameter of 1.1 cm and a flesh thickness of 0.15 cm.The average fruit weight is about 5.0 g,and each plant can bear up to 300 fruits.The fruit contains 98.3 mg/100 g of vitamin C and 88.6 mg/kg of capsaicin.This variety has a good continuous fruiting ability ant its fruit has high brightness,excellent quality,and strong resistance to storage and transportation.It exhibits comprehensive disease resistance,resistant to blight,with moderate resistance to viral diseases,anthracnose,and bacterial wilt.Its growth is slow under low temperatures,and it has moderate tolerance to humidity and high temperature.The variety has a yield of approximately 1 450 kg per 667 m2,and is suitable for protected and open-field cultivation in areas such as Anhui,Xinjiang,Yunnan,Hainan,and Gansu.关键词
