Abstract
Hydrogen-donating solvents play a crucial role in the direct liquefaction of coal,as they facilitate the transfer of active hydrogen to the free radical fragments generated during coal pyrolysis.Given the limited solubility of hydrogen under liquefaction conditions and lack of compre-hensive research on it,this study employed an improved hydrogen solubility measurement apparatus to examine the dissolution behavior of hydrogen in crude oil and its two fractions derived from direct coal liquefaction.To minimize the experimental errors associated with dissolved hydrogen prior to reaching thermal equilibrium,a hydrogen preheating kettle and heat tracing of pipeline were utilized.The results indicate that hydrogen solubility in coal liquefaction crude oil and its two fractions increase progressively with increasing temperature and pressure,and the impact of pressure on hydrogen solu-bility become more pronounced at elevated temperatures.In equivalent temperature and pressure con-ditions,the hydrogen solubility in the light fraction of coal liquefaction crude oil is markedly superior to that in the heavy fraction.The composition and structure of the oil are analyzed using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)and high-resolution mass spectrometry.Based on the compositional data of the light and heavy fractions,it is inferred that the predominance of condensed aromatic rings in the composition and structure is the primary factor contributing to the reduced hydro-gen solubility in the heavy fractions.The model solution system,comprising two hydrocarbon com-pounds,confirms that an increase in the content of tetracyclic aromatic pyrene in the solution signifi-cantly diminishes its hydrogen solubility under identical temperature and pressure conditions.This study provides a foundation for the development of circulating solvents with superior hydrogen supply capabilities from the perspective of hydrogen solubilization.关键词
