Translation of revolutionary museum narratives and image construction of CPC from perspective of imageology:a case study of Nanchang Uprising Memorial
摘要
Abstract
In the context of building a cultural power and enhancing international communication efficacy,accurate translation of red culture not only helps to dispel international misunderstandings and biases toward China's revolu-tionary history but also actively shapes a positive image of the Communist Party of China(CPC)and the revolutiona-ry army and masses under its leadership.From the perspective of imagology,the paper takes the foreign translation of the museum narratives of Nanchang Uprising Memorial as the corpus,summarizing the deficiencies of the English translation of the revolutionary narratives through empirical analysis,and suggesting some optimizing strategies of translating and disseminating Chinese revolutionary culture,so as to construct a positive image of CPC in the inter-national society.关键词
