摘要

Abstract

To study the fracture characteristics of phosphate rocks under different impact loads(different strain rates),the impact compression test of Yichang phosphate rocks un-der different impact loads was carried out by SHPB(split-Hobkinson pressure bar)tech-nique.The stress-strain curves of phosphate rocks under different impact loads were ob-tained,and the failure mechanism of phosphate rocks was analyzed.Meanwhile,the nu-merical simulation of the microscopic granular flow was performed to obtain the experimen-tal fracture characteristics of the rocks.The results suggest that under low strain-rate load-ing conditions,the specimen was primarily dominated by intergranular tensile failure;as the strain-rate increased,the incidence rate of transgranular shear increased accordingly.Under high strain-rate conditions,the specimens were broken up into even smaller pieces,with multiple cracks and a higher incidence rate of shear failure,which was completely different from the failure mode of phosphate rocks under low strain rate conditions.This is the main mechanism for the strength increase of the phosphate rock under high strain-rate conditions.
