Abstract
[Research purpose]Private intelligence agencies have a long history in the intelligence activities of the United States and have long played an important role.In the context of the United States' continuous promotion of the so-called strategic competition among major powers,analyzing the current development status of the private intelligence agencies in the United States will help us better understand the trends of U.S.intelligence activities in the strategic competition with China.[Research method]Using methods such as content analysis and literature research,this paper systematically sorts out and conducts in-depth investigations on open source intelligence such as official documents,authoritative media reports,and the propaganda content of relevant private intelligence agencies themselves,to analyze the de-velopment status of the U.S.private intelligence agencies and their roles and influence in the U.S.foreign strategic competition.[Re-search result/conclusion]The study shows that the various private intelligence agencies in the United States have formed a complete intel-ligence activity system,with business activities covering intelligence collection,intelligence analysis,security consulting and other as-pects,playing a more important role in all aspects of U.S.intelligence activities.At present,various private intelligence agencies have di-rectly participated in the U.S.strategic competition with China,bringing more risks and challenges to China's national security and the de-velopment of China-U.S.relations.关键词
