摘要

Abstract

Based on the daily hourly observation data of foF2 during the 24th solar activity cycle(2009-2019)from three ionospheric observation stations in China,the frequency variation laws of the F2 layer(foF2)and its relationship with the solar activity index were studied.It was found that the dependence of foF2 on sunspot number(R)and solar radio flux at 10.7 cm wavelength(F10.7)is strongest during the solar middle and weakest during the solar high years.Using the mutual information method in information theory,the long-term change trends of foF2,R and F10.7 are analyzed.The results show that the sunspot number(R)is more suitable to describe the long-term trend of foF2 in the 24th solar activity in China.
