大亚湾造礁石珊瑚群落分布特征
Distribution Characteristics of Scleractinian Corals Communities in Daya Bay

Abstract
From May 2022 to May 2023,the distribution and species diversity of scleractinian corals in Daya Bay were comprehensively investigated using boundary survey and belt transect method.The results showed 30 dense regions of scleractinia coral communities in Daya Bay,of which 18 regions are key distribution areas,with a total distribution area of 417.25 hm2.There are 74 species of scleractinian corals,which belong to 12 families and 25 genera.The domi-nant species are Porites lutea,Plesiastrea versipora and Favites pentagona.In conjunction with the results of the historical survey,there are 45 dense regions of scleractinia coral communities in Daya Bay,with a total coral area of 589.66 hm2.A total of 75 species of scleractinian corals have been recorded,belonging to 12 families and 25 genera.In this study,a comprehensive survey of scleractinian coral resources in the whole area of Daya Bay was conducted,and the distribution range and species composition of scleractinian coral communities in Daya Bay was initially clarified.At the same time,five recommendations were made for the protection of scleractinian coral resources and the healthy development of the eco-system,including proper overall planning and functional layout,controlling the impact of human activities on scleractinian corals,strengthening the capacity of marine ecological environmental protection,continuous monitoring the dynamic changes of coral communities,and protecting marine habitats.The study provides reference material for the conservation,management,restoration,rehabilitation,and sustainable development of the regional scleractinian coral communities.关键词
