Abstract
Objective:To explore the effect of high embedding repair technology on the repair effect and gum health of patients with large posterior tooth defects.Methods:A total of 84 patients with large posterior tooth defects admitted to the Eighty Army Group Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army from January 2022 to November 2023 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into a control group and a study group by random number table method,with 42 cases in each group.The control group was treated with all-ceramic crown repair technology,and the study group was treated with high embedding repair technology.The repair effect,gum condition,chewing efficiency,quality of life and occurrence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results:The scores of edge fit,adjacent anatomy,surface and edge coloration,fracture and retention in the study group were higher than those in the control group,the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).One month after the restoration,the Plaque Index and Gingival Index of both groups were lower than those before restoration,and the study group were lower than those of the control group,the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).One month after the restoration,the chewing efficiency of both groups were higher than those before repair,and the study group was higher than that of the control group,the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).One month after the restoration,the scores of physiological function,social function,general health status and physiological function the MOS Item Short Form Health Survey in both groups were higher than those before repair,and the study group were higher than those of the control group,the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).The complication rate in the study group was 2.38%,which was lower than 19.05%in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:High embedding repair technology has a significant effect on the restoration of patients with large posterior tooth defects,and can improve of gum health and chewing efficiency,improve quality of life,and reduce complications.关键词
