Abstract
Objective To explore the curative effect of TCM acupoint application combined with compound dextromethorphan hydrobromide syrup in children with bronchopneumonia.Methods A total of 150 children with bronchopneumonia admitted to Kaifeng Children's Hospital were enrolled between March 2022 and April 2024.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into control group(76 cases,compound dextromethorphan hydrobromide syrup on basis of routine treatment)and combination group(74 cases,compound dextromethorphan hydrobromide syrup combined with TCM acupoint application).The curative effect,disappearance time of symptoms,lung function,inflammatory factors and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results After 7 days of treatment,curative effect of combination group was better than that of control group(P<0.05).The disappearance time of fever and cough in combination group were(1.81±0.42)d and(4.34±0.88)d,significantly shorter than those in control group[(2.42±0.53)d,(5.56±0.76)d,P<0.001].After 7 days of treatment,forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC)and peak expiratory flow(PEF)were increased in both groups(P<0.05),while C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)were decreased(P<0.05).FEV1,FVC and PEF in combination group were(85.49±4.54)%,(86.72±5.07)%and(1.78±0.23)L/S,higher than those in control group[(82.36±5.05)%,(82.34±4.76)%,(1.56±0.24)L/S,P<0.001],while CRP,IL-6 and TNF-α were(6.34±1.72)mg/L,(12.34±2.84)ng/L and(9.29±2.26)mg/L,significantly lower than those in control group[(8.49±1.85)mg/L,(19.67±3.31)ng/L,(11.87±2.57)mg/L,P<0.001].There was no significant difference in incidence of adverse reactions between combination group and control group(9.21%vs 6.76%,χ2=0.307,P>0.05).Conclusion TCM acupoint application combined with compound dextromethorphan hydrobromide syrup is beneficial to shorten improvement time of clinical symptoms,reduce inflammatory response and improve curative effect in children with bronchopneumonia,which has good safety.关键词
