Abstract
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of modified Yupingfeng decoction combined with mometasone furoate nasal spray on patients with allergic rhinitis.Methods A total of 94 patients with allergic rhinitis admitted to our hospital from June 2022 to July 2024 were retrospectively selected as the research objects.Patients were divided into a Western medicine group and an observation group according to different treatment plans,with 47 cases in each group.The Western medicine group was treated with mometasone furoate nasal spray,while the observation group was treated with mometasone furoate nasal spray combined with modified Yupingfeng Decoction.The clinical efficacy and incidence of adverse reactions during treatment were compared between the two groups,as well as the scores of TCM syndromes,nasal signs,immunoglobulins(IgE,IgG,IgA),T helper lymphocyte 1/T helper lymphocyte 2(Th1/Th2),interleukin(IL)-4,interferon(IFN)-γ,IL-12,surfactant protein-A(SP-A),IL-10,and the Rhinoconjunctivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire(RQLQ)scores before and after treatment.Results The clinical efficacy of the observation group was higher than that of the Western medicine group after treatment(P<0.05).After treatment,the symptom score and nasal sign score in the observation group were lower than those in the Western medicine group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of IgA,Th1/Th2,and IgG in the observation group were higher than those in the Western medicine group,while the level of IgE was lower than that in the Western medicine group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of IL-10,SP-A,IL-4,and RQLQ scores in the observation group were lower than those in the Western medicine group,while the levels of IFN-γ and IL-12 were higher than those in the Western medicine group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The efficacy of modified Yupingfeng Decoction combined with mometasone furoate nasal spray in treating allergic rhinitis is significant,which can alleviate clinical symptoms,inhibit inflammatory reactions,improve immune function and quality of life,and has good safety.关键词
