Abstract

In recent years,with the rapid development of virtual reality(VR)technology,VR-based simulation systems have been widely used in teaching and training across various industries to address the high-risk,high-cost,and low-experience issues present in traditional training schemes.However,in existing VR simulation systems related to overhead power line tower operations,the user is of poor risk perception,lack of presence,and insufficient immersion,resulting in poor training effects.To solve these problems,this paper proposes a behavior risk real-time detection technology based on the electric field propagation model and conductive path model,quantifying the user's behavior risk in the simulation system and improving the user's behavior risk perception ability.At the same time,a full-body gesture reconstruction method based on inverse kinetics(IK)is used to restore real human posture in the virtual scene more accurately,enhancing the user's sense of presence.In addition,this paper simulates the position,volume,and timbre of collision sound with high precision,enhancing the realism of collision sounds and improving the user's immersion.Combining these key technologies,this paper designs and implements a VR-based overhead line tower operation safety simulation system and pilots the system in real business scenarios.The training results for 40 trainees indicate that,compared to traditional training methods,this system can effectively improve training outcomes,reduce training costs,and mitigate potential risks.
