摘要

Abstract

As the core component for power transmission and load-bearing of vehicles,the drive axle housing faced higher challenges in terms of its structural strength and durability.A systematic review of the research status and technological progress of the drive axle housing was conducted,focusing on three aspects:finite element analysis of the drive axle housing,lightweight design,and materials and manufacturing processes.It was found that the half shaft sleeves,wheel sides,and central areas were the areas with high stress concentration and frequent failure.The problem of stress concentration could be effectively solved through structural optimization.The natural frequencies of the drive axle housing were generally higher than 50 Hz,so resonance would not be triggered,and the vibration amplitude could be suppressed through damping optimization.The application of topological optimization and high-strength materials could reduce the weight by 15%,and optimizing the heat treatment process parameters could reduce the welding residual stress and improve the forming efficiency.In the future,intelligent algorithm,high-strength materials and intelligent manufacturing technology should be integrate to realize multi-objective performance collaborative optimization of drive axle housing,which can provide some reference for durability and lightweight design of drive axle housing.
