摘要

Abstract

In order to explore the characteristics and function of the foxtail millet LEA gene family,based on the published Arabidopsis thaliana LEA protein sequence,LEA family members were genome-widely identified using bioinformatics methods.Subsequent analysis were conducted on the physical and chemical properties,conserved motifs,phylogenetic tree,cis-regulatory elements,collinearity,and expression patterns of the proteins encoded by SiLEAs.These results showed that a total of 33 SiLEA members were identified in the foxtail millet LEA family,and SiLEAs were unevenly distributed on 9 chromosomes.Subcellular prediction found that SiLEAs were located in the nucleus,cytoplasm,chloroplast,and mitochondria.Through phylogenetic tree analysis,different subfamilies were divided into three groups,and most of those SiLEAs gene in the same subfamily showed similar gene structure and conserved motif component characteristics.Cis-regulatory element analysis showed that there were many response elements related to plant hormones and stress in the promoter region of SiLEAs,Inter-species collinearity analysis found that the number of gene pairs,which were collinear with monocotyledon,were much higher than those with dicotyledon.Analysis of the gene expression patterns of SiLEAs revealed that SiLEA3-6,SiLEA3-7,SiDHN-4,SiDHN-1,and SiLEA3-8 were highly expressed in roots,stems,leaves,and before flowering and seven days after flowering,and these five genes also all contained the elements related to growth and development,suggesting that SiLEA3-6,SiLEA3-7,SiDHN-4,SiDHN-1,and SiLEA3-8 might be the key genes of LEA gene family in response to growth and development in foxtail millet.
