摘要

Abstract

The root system is the main organ for rice to absorb water and nutrients from the soil,and also has important synthesis and secretion functions.It plays an important regulatory role in the growth and development of aboveground parts,as well as the formation of yield and quality,resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses.This article first briefly described the main methods used in studying the morphology,anatomy,and physiological traits of rice roots.Then,a brief introduction was given to the research methods of rice roots under drought stress.Finally,the perspectives for root research method development in the future were also elucidated.
