电针联合基础吞咽训练治疗小儿病毒性脑炎合并吞咽障碍的疗效观察
Observations on the efficacy of electroacupuncture plus basic swallowing training for childhood viral encephalitis with dysphagia

Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture plus basic swallowing training for childhood viral encephalitis with dysphagia.Method Sixty patients suffering from viral encephalitis with dysphagia were randomized to observation and control groups,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with basic swallowing training and the observation group,electroacupuncture in addition.The water swallow test(WST),the standardized swallowing assessment(SSA)and the videofluroscopic swallowing study(VFSS)scores,serum nerve function indicators[brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF),neuron-specific enolase(NSE)and central nervous system specific protein β(S100β)]and the quality of life score were observed in two groups before and after treatment.The clinical therapeutic effects and complication incidences were compared between the two groups.Result After treatment,the WST and SSA scores decreased(P＜0.05)and the VFSS score increased(P＜0.05)in the two groups;the WST and SSA scores were lower(P＜0.05)and the VFSS score was higher(P＜0.05)in the observation group than in the control group.After treatment,serum BDNF levels increased(P＜0.05)and serum NSE and S100β levels decreased(P＜0.05)in the two groups;BDNF levels were higher(P＜0.05)and serum NSE and S100β levels were lower(P＜0.05)in the observation group than in the control group.After treatment,various quality of life dimension scores increased in the two groups(P＜0.05)and were higher in the observation group than in the control group(P＜0.05).The total efficacy rate was 93.3%in the observation group,which was higher than 73.3%in the control group(P＜0.05).The total incidence of complications was 3.3%in the observation group,which was lower than 26.7%in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Electroacupuncture plus basic swallowing training has a good therapeutic effect on childhood viral encephalitis with dysphagia.It can regulate serum BDNF,NSE and S100β levels,relieve dysphagia,ameliorate swallowing function,improve the quality of life and reduce the incidence of complications in the patients.关键词
