钴配合物催化醋酸乙烯酯自由基聚合的研究
Study on Cobalt Complex-catalyzed Free Radical Polymerization of Vinyl Acetate

Abstract
Three cobalt(Ⅱ)complexes containing different substituents were synthesized and characterized by infrared spectroscopy,mass spectrometry,and X-ray single-crystal diffraction.The polymerization of vinyl acetate(VAc)mediated by cobalt salicylaldehyde complexes with different substituents was investigated using azobisisobutyronitrile(AIBN)as a radical initiator.The effects of[AIBN]/[Co],monomer concentration,reaction time,and temperature on the molecular weight and molecular weight distribution of the polymer were explored.The results showed that complex 1 exhibited good catalytic performance in both bulk and solution polymerizations with AIBN.When the molar ratio of[VAc]/[AIBN]/[1]was 600/2/1,the polymerization reaction in toluene solution at 65℃for 20 hours yielded polyvinyl acetate with a number-average molecular weight close to the theoretical value and a relatively narrow molecular weight distribution.关键词
