摘要

Abstract

The process of preparing BF/PLA composite materials involves first twisting long bamboo fiber(BF)with polylactic acid fiber(PLA)to form a twisted rope,followed by heat treatment(155℃,30 min).The tensile properties of BF/PLA composite materials were investigated by changing the twisting conditions to obtain the optimal twisting process parameters.The effects of twist,the number of fibers,and the mass ratio of BF to PLA on the tensile properties of the composite rope were studied using fiber tensile tests and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).Orthogonal experiments were conducted to determine the optimal twisting process parameters,and the tensile properties of BF/PLA before and after compositing,as well as the bonding state between BF and PLA,were compared and analyzed.The results showed that the twisted structure helps the bonding between bamboo fibers and molten PLA fibers.As the twist,the number of fibers,and the mass ratio of BF to PLA increase,the tensile strength of the BF/PLA composite materials first increases and then decreases.The single-factor conditions for the maximum breaking strength are a twist of 100 twists/m,16 fibers,and a mass ratio of BF to PLA of 42∶58.The influence of the three factors on tensile properties is in the order of the number of fibers>mass ratio of BF to PLA>twist.The optimal twisting process parameters are a twist of 100 twists/m,16 fibers,and a mass ratio of BF to PLA of 87∶13.Under this process,the elastic modulus and breaking strength of the composite rope are 53.67 MPa and 9.9 cN/tex,respectively,which are 16.1%and 17.9%higher than those of the twisted rope(before compositing).
