Abstract

A method for simultaneous determination of antioxidants 1010 and 168 in polypropylene(PP)resin was developed based on low temperature comminution-microwave extraction-high performance liquid chromatography.After the samples were crushed at low temperature and treated with microwave extraction at 80℃for 30 min,the antioxidant content of PP samples could be completely extracted.Then the antioxidant content of PP samples was determined by HPLC.The chromatographic conditions are as follows:ZORBAX SB-C18 column(5 μm,4.6 mm×150 mm);mobile phase:acetonitrile;flow rate:1.4 mL/min;detection wavelength:220 nm;column temperature:40℃;injection volume:20 μL.Under these conditions,the linear relationship of antioxidants 1010 and 168 was good in the range of 1.26~80.64 mg/L and 1.31~83.84 mg/L,respectively,and the correlation coefficient(R2)was not less than 0.999 7.The average recoveries of antioxidants 1010 and 168 were 91.05%and 95.18%,and the relative standard deviations(RSD)were 1.69%and 1.80%,respectively.The analytical method is simple,fast and accurate,and can be used to precisely regulate the content of antioxidants 1010 and 168 in PP system during production and processing.
