摘要

Abstract

The integrity of plastic pipe in industrial and residential infrastructure is critical.Non-destructive testing(NDT)techniques play a vital role in diagnosing the health of plastic pipe.The paper reviews the application of 10 nondestructive testing techniques in the field of plastic pipes,describes the working principles,summarizes the latest application advances,and compares the advantages and limitations of the different techniques,including visual inspection,radiographic inspection,ultrasonic inspection,eddy current inspection,magnetic particle inspection,penetrant inspection,infrared thermography,holographic inspection,acoustic emission inspection,and laser shear interferometry.Finally,the development direction of non-destructive testing technology in the field of plastic pipes is prospected.
