摘要

Abstract

The study aimed to investigate the effects of a compound phytogenic additive composed of tea polyphenols,carvacrol,and rosmarinic acid on the growth performance,serum biochemical indices,and rumen microflora in weaned lambs of Guizhou black goats.A total of 14 weaned lambs of Guizhou black goats were randomly allocated into two groups with seven replicates per group and one lamb per replicate.The control group was fed a basal diet,while the experimental group received the basal diet supplemented with 6 g/kg compound phytogenic additive.The pre-test period was 10 days and the formal test period was 90 days.The results showed that compared with the control group,the final weight and average daily gain in the experimental group were significantly increased by 15.20%and 56.29%(P<0.05)respectively,while the feed conversion ratio was significantly reduced by 47.32%(P<0.05).The serum triglyceride content in the experimental group was significantly increased(P<0.05).Rumen microbial analysis revealed that the Simpson index of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).At the phylum level,the relative abundances of Bacteroides,Spirochaetes,and Elusimicrobia in the rumen of the experimental group were significantly decreased(P<0.05),while the relative abundance of Proteobacteria was significantly increased(P<0.05).At the genus level,the relative abundance of Succinivibrio in the rumen of the experimental group was significantly increased(P<0.05),while that of the Lachnospiraceae_ND3007 group was significantly reduced(P<0.05).This study shows that compound phytogenic additive can improve the growth performance and rumen microbial composition in weaned lambs of Guizhou black goats.
