Effects of dietary supplementation of dandelion flavonoid extract on egg enrichment,egg quality,and immune indexes of Hyline brown laying hens

Abstract
The experiment aimed to study the impact of adding different concentrations of dandelion flavone extract(DFE)on the DFE content in eggs,egg quality,serum biochemical indexes,and immune indexes of laying hens.Randomly divide 180 of 560 days old Hailan brown laying hens into five groups,with 12 replicates in each group and three laying hens in each replicate.Hens in the control group were fed a basal diet,and those in the experimental groups were supplemented with 1 000,2 000,4 000 and 8 000 mg/kg DFE,respectively.The pre-trial period lasted for three days and the formal experiment lasted for 30 days.The results showed that dietary supplemental level of DFE could significantly increase the enrichment of rutin and quercetin in egg yolk and egg white,and the higher the level,the better the enrichment effect.The supplemental level of 8 000 mg/kg DFE group had the highest content on the 30th day,and the content of rutin in egg yolk could reach 0.94 μg/g.Quercetin content can reach 1.45 μg/g.The content of rutin and quercetin in egg white could reach 0.18 μg/g and 0.01 μg/g.On day 10,the eggshell weight of 8 000 mg/kg DFE group was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05),the eggshell thickness of 2 000,4 000 and 8 000 mg/kg DFE groups was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05).On day 20,the eggshell strength of 4 000 and 8 000 mg/kg DFE groups was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05),the yolk weight of 2 000 mg/kg DFE group was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05),the eggshell thickness of 1 000 and 8 000 mg/kg DFE groups was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05).On day 30,the eggshell weight of 1 000,4 000 and 8 000 mg/kg DFE groups was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05).On days 10,20 and 30,the feed to egg ratio of experimental groups was significantly lower than that of control group(P<0.05).The studies show that DFE can improve egg quality and enhance the antioxidant capacity and immune function of the body in laying hens.The recommended dosage of DFE is 8 000 mg/kg for 30 days.关键词
