Abstract

The experiment aimed to explore the comprehensive evaluation of the forage quality of straw from different soybean varieties.The straw of 60 soybean varieties as the experimental material,their conventional forage nutrient content was measured and analyzed.The nutritional quality of soybean straw was evaluated by principal component analysis,correlation analysis and membership function analysis.The results showed that the R0679 variety had the highest moisture(M)content at 9.59%.The R0356 variety had the highest crude protein(CP)content at 11.64%.The R0636 variety had the highest crude fat(EE)content at 1.98%.The R0246 variety had the highest crude ash(Ash)content at 9.30%.The R0619 variety had the highest calcium(Ca)content at 1.65%.The R0885 variety had the highest phosphorus(P)content at 0.06%.The R0192 variety had the highest acid detergent fiber(ADF)content at 49.95%,and the R0359 variety had the highest neutral detergent fiber(NDF)content at 69.87%.Based on these eight nutritional indicators,three principal components with eigenvalues greater than 1 were extracted through principal component analysis,with a cumulative contribution rate of 63.66%.The study indicates that soybean straw from varieties R0356,R0376,R0281,R0125,and R0101 is relatively high forage quality and can be regarded as high-quality straw forage resources in livestock production.
