西江流域鱼类资源衰退状况及对策分析
Status and Conservation Strategies for Fish Resources in the Xijiang River Basin
摘要
Abstract
In this study,we analyzed the degraded condition of fish resources in the Xijiang River basin and the causes of degradation using data collection,field surveys and symposium-based discussions.We then put forward strategies for protecting and restoring fish resources in the basin.We aimed to deepen the scientific,systematic,and holistic understanding of fish resources and promote the protection and sustain-able development of aquatic bioresources in the Xijiang River basin.The problems that fish resources have encountered in the basin include a decline in fish diversity,changes in fish community structure,a tendency toward younger and miniaturized fish,decreased reproductive capacity,and population declines of rare and endemic species.Research indicates that the primary threats include damage to spawning sites and migration routes caused by cascaded hydropower development,navigation channel modification,changes in hydrological conditions,overfishing,and the introduction of invasive species.Considering these findings,we suggest the following conservation and restoration strategies:improving river connec-tivity and habitat through multiple measures,carrying out coordinated ecological regulation,optimizing fishing bans,strengthening the prevention and control of alien species,and implementing fish prolifera-tion and release for the rare,endangered,and endemic species.关键词
