Chinesization of the Self-Efficacy to Reduce Sedentary Behavior Scale and its reliability and validity test
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To translate the Self-Efficacy to Reduce Sedentary Behavior(SRSB)Scale into Chinese and to test its reliability and validity. Methods:The SRSB scale underwent forward translation,back-translation,cultural adaptation, and pre-investigation.A total of 363 middle-aged and older adults from five communities in Changzhou city were selected as subjects by convenience sampling method for investigation from January to March 2024.Classical Test Theory analysis and Rasch model analysis were used for reliability and validity test of the scale. Results:The item-level content validity index and average scale-level content validity index of the Chinese version of the SRSB scale both were 1.000.Exploratory factor analysis extracted one factor, accounting for 61.573%of the variance.Criterion-related validity was 0.467(P<0.01).The overall Cronbach's α coefficient of the scale was 0.920.The split-half reliability was 0.913.And test-retest reliability was 0.951(P<0.01).Rasch model analysis showed that person reliability was 0.80.Item reliability was 0.93.Person separation value was 2.02.Item separation value was 3.56.The infit MNSQ values ranged from 0.79 to 1.46.The outfit MNSQ values ranged from 0.77 to 1.47.And PT measure ranged from 0.71 to 0.79.Absolute differences of different genders groups ranged from 0.00 to 0.18(P>0.05).Absolute differences of different age groups ranged from 0.00 to 0.32(P>0.05).Conclusions:The Chinese version of the SRSB scale has good reliability, validity, and model fit.It can provide robust tool for assessing self-efficacy in reducing sedentary behavior.关键词
