Abstract
IM-5 zeolite was synthesized by pre-reaction method with the precursor 1,5-dichloro-pentane(DCP)used for the synthesis of template agent 1,5-bis(N-methylpyrrolidine)pentane chloride and N-methylpyrrolidine(NMP)as raw materials.The effects of the amount of DCP and NMP and the crystallization conditions on the crystallinity,crystal morphology,and pore structure of the synthesized zeolite were investigated by methods including XRD,SEM,and N2 adsorption-desorption.At the same time,the zeolite was prepared into a catalyst,and the catalytic activity was investigated.The results show that the crystallinity of IM-5 zeolite can be improved by the increasing amount of DCP.The appropriate amount of NMP is n(NMP)∶n(SiO2)=0.3.With an appropriate amount of raw materials,the crystallinity of the zeolite obtained was similar to that of industrial IM-5 zeolite when the first phase crystallization time was reduced by 4 h and the second phase crystallization time by 8 h.The catalyst prepared by the zeolite has the same activity as the one prepared by industrial IM-5 zeolite in benzene alkylation with ethylene.It provides strong support for the low-cost synthesis of IM-5 zeolite.关键词
