Strategic Pathways for United States Open Science:A Review of Open Science Dynamic Convergence Workshop

Abstract
This article introduces and evaluates the core content and outcomes of the United States Open Science Dynamic Convergence Workshop.Held amid the push of immediate open access policies in the United States,the workshop is sponsored by the National Science Foundation,NASA,Open Research Community Accelerator,and private foundations.Centered on the main themes of engagement,coordination,and acceleration,it fosters global dialogue through forums and workshops,proposing initiatives like the Open Science Champions Program to advance open science.Using the summit as a springboard,the article outlines the development and action pathways of open science in the United States and globally,analyzing the global impact and strategies of open science development in the United States driven by research communities.It integrates the summit's recommendations on policy enhancement,global collaboration,technological innovation,and training,while showcasing successful global open science cases and their significant effects to support the implementation of proposed measures.Drawing on the summit and a global perspective,the article examines China's open science landscape,compares it with the United States,and offers tailored recommendations to open science development in China,so as to integrate China's open science into the global ecosystem.关键词
