Abstract

In order to reveal the operational stability of Metropolitan Rail Transit Composite Network(MRTCN)in the context of four-network integration,this study analyzes and compares the differences between plain-type and cluster-type MRTCN.By applying composite network and Space-L theory,a weighted MRTCN model of four-network integration was constructed.By introducing prospect theory,a stability measurement index for MRTCN,considering the passenger travel endurance coefficient,was proposed.On this basis,using the actual data of two metropolitan area suburban railway-metro networks as examples,this paper compared and analyzed the stability of the plain-type and cluster-type networks in terms of overall efficiency,maximum connectivity,and network connectivity considering the passenger travel endurance coefficients.This study also examined the differences in the stability of different types of MRTCN with respect to passenger travel endurance coefficients.The results showed that:(1)the weighted MRTCN was more stable than the unweighted MRTCN,and the influence of passenger flow on the stability of the cluster-type MRTCN was smaller.(2)The endurance coefficient had a significant influence on the connectivity of stations,and with the increase of endurance coefficient,the connectivity of stations also increased.(3)The plain-type MRTCN was more stable than the cluster-type MRTCN.
