Abstract

Inconsistent data standards and formats across different BIM applications significantly reduce the collaboration efficiency of all parties involved and increase the risks of information inconsistency.To address these issues,this study analyzed the lifecycle data transmission and application requirements for railway infrastructure,focusing on data exchange modes,data formats,and data management platforms.Building on the data exchange modes of IFC and railML,a common data model for lifecycle data transmission in railway infrastructure was proposed.The data model architecture was investigated to clarify data classification,data structure,and interrelationships in railway infrastructure.The metadata description methods for railway infrastructure were standardized,and a conversion mechanism for automated XML Schema generation from metadata information was introduced.The principles of extension and validation of the data model were established,and the uniqueness of metadata was determined through semantic recognition.Based on the Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway project,this study conducted application verification of the lifecycle general data model for railway infrastructure.A metadata management system for railway infrastructure was developed,with over 4 000 metadata entries of railway infrastructure organized and 63 XML Schemas generated for data transmission,resulting in the development of common templates for railway infrastructure data transmission.At the same time,the data collaboration and sharing platform for railway infrastructure based on Schema was built to enable the generation and transmission of structured data.Through digital handover during design and construction phases,the lifecycle data of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway infrastructure can be transmitted without loss,promoting its integrated management of the construction and maintenance.
