摘要

Abstract

Tests on cargo package fire caused by external fire were carried out.The effects of fire sources with different forms and different energy on cargo packages and vehicle floors were analyzed.The results show that the contact temperature and the quality of iron filings are the main factors affecting the fire induced by iron filings.The frictional heat generation condition that may exist in railway transportation is simulated,and tests on the series friction among the cargo package,the floor,and the liner material,as well as the impact friction test and the simulated loading and unloading operation friction test,are carried out.The result shows that if there is friction between the cargo packages,as well as between the cargo packages and the side wall and the floor of the carriage for a long time during the operation of the vehicle,the packaging material in contact can accumulate energy through a slow reaction,resulting in a slow increase in the local temperature of the cargo package under specific conditions such as closure and heat accumulation.According to the test results,measures for safe railway freight transportation are proposed for packaging materials,loading and unloading operations,etc.,so as to provide theoretical support for preventing fire accidents during railway freight transportation.
