Regional Passenger Travel Characteristics Based on Multi-Class Spatial Trajectory Data and Multi-Type Passenger Classification

Abstract
By classifying passenger travel based on travel scopes and operational attributes of vehicles and considering passengers of non-operational private vehicles and transit passengers unrelated to regional economic development,a calculation model for regional passenger travel characteristics covering the total regional passenger volume,transit passenger volume,and non-transit passenger volume was constructed.Comparative advantages of traditional statistics of the transportation industry,operating charge data,and mobile signaling data were utilized to strengthen mutual complementation and verification of different data sources and improve the accessibility and accuracy of model parameters.A case study of Hubei Province in 2023 was implemented to verify the validity and practicability of the proposed model.The results show that the model can be used to analyze passenger travel characteristics of transportation networks in Hubei Province.The transit passenger volume in Hubei Province in 2023 is 261 million,contributing an important part to the regional passenger volume.The private passenger vehicle accounts for 65.3%of the total passenger transportation in Hubei Province,making it the most common mode of transportation for passengers in Hubei Province.关键词
