摘要

Abstract

As an important component of the urban rail transit system,the depot is critical to the safety,punctuality and efficiency of train operation.However,the extensive construction and land use scale required for depots results in increasingly obvious problems,such as high construction costs and prominent conflicts over urban land use.Therefore,it is of great significance to determine a reasonable scale for the depot in the planning process.Based on a synthesis of existing research results and engineering practice experience,this paper proposes a depot scale calculation approach oriented towards transportation demand,including the method for calculating the number of allocated trains and the scale of storage yard and warehouse.The accurate scale calculation results for each storage yard and warehouse are provided aiming at different operational periods and varying numbers of depots.The proposed method offers theoretical support and reference for some important problems,such as the planning and retrofitting of the depots of urban rail transit,as well as functional layout adjustments.
