Application effect of red light irradiation therapy combined with external application of Xiao'er Qingre Xuanfei Plaster in pediatric cough due to wind-heat invading lung syndrome

Abstract
Objective To investigate the application effect of red light irradiation therapy combined with external application of Xiao'er Qingre Xuanfei Plaster in pediatric cough caused by wind-heat invading lung syndrome.Methods Eighty children with cough due to wind-heat invading lung syndrome in the First Hospital of the Southern Theater Command Navy of People's Liberation Army of China from March 2023 to July 2024 were selected and divided into the control group(red light irradiation therapy)and the combined group(red light irradiation therapy combined with external application of Xiao'er Qingre Xuanfei Plaster)using the random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The therapeutic effect,levels of inflammatory factors and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scores of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of the combined group was 97.50%,higher than 85.00%of the control group(P<0.05).After 3 and 7 days of treatment,the levels of C-reactive protein,interleukin-6 and serum amyloid A in the combined group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After 7 days of treatment,the TCM syndrome scores of the combined group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Red light irradiation therapy combined with external application of Xiao'er Qingre Xuanfei Plaster has a better application effect in pediatric cough due to wind-heat invading lung syndrome,which can improve the levels of inflammatory factors and the TCM syndrome scores.关键词
