Abstract
Objective To explore the expression and significance of GATA binding protein 3(GATA-3)in patients with non-specific invasive breast cancer.Methods A total of 120 patients with non-specific invasive breast cancer admitted to Chengwu People's Hospital(from February 2017 to June 2019)were selected.The cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues of patients were examined by immunohistochemistry.The 5-year disease-free survival rate and survival rate of patients with different GATA-3 expression and the positive expression of GATA-3 in cancer tissues under different clinical characteristics were analyzed.Results The positive expression rate of GATA-3 in cancer tissues was lower than that in adjacent normal tissues(P<0.05).The 5-year disease-free survival rate of patients with GATA-3 positive expression was higher than that of patients with GATA-3 negative expression(P<0.05).The 5-year survival rate of patients with GATA-3 positive expression was higher than that of patients with GATA-3 negative expression(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the positive expression of GATA-3 in cancer tissues of different ages and tumor diameters(P>0.05).The comparison of positive expression of GATA-3 in cancer tissues with different histological grades,TNM stages,lymph node metastasis,estrogen receptor,progesterone receptor,and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 showed statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The positive expression of GATA-3 in patients with non-specific invasive breast cancer is associated with lymph node metastasis,estrogen receptor,and TNM stages,etc.Patients with non-specific invasive breast cancer with positive GATA-3 expression have a better prognosis.关键词
