A Reliable and Secure Data Communication Scheme for Distributed Satellite Network

Abstract
Satellite networks play a crucial role in modern communication and navigation.However,traditional centralized satellite networks are vulnerable to single points of failure,which can reduce system availability and scalability.We propose a secure and reliable data communication scheme for distributed satellite network scenarios.To achieve efficient access management,we introduce the WKD-IBE technology and design a key management mechanism that supports fine-grained distributed key generation,distribution,and revocation.Compared to the traditional approach where keys are managed by centralized servers,the proposed key management mechanism allows any legitimate subscriber to grant access to resources to other subscribers during their subscription period.Building on this,a secure and lightweight two-step broadcast encryption algorithm is designed,which reduces node computational overhead while ensuring data privacy through key reuse.To enhance system availability and minimize the impact of node failures,a fault detection and recovery mechanism based on Byzantine fault tolerance consensus protocol is designed.Experimental results show that the proposed scheme exhibits lower computational and communication overhead in low-bandwidth distributed satellite network scenarios.关键词
