Abstract

Aiming at the problem of water inrush treatment in TBM-constructed tunnels under changing slope conditions,taking the TBM construction with changing slope of a water conveyance tunnel in Lanzhou as the background,the empirical formula method is used to esti-mate the water inrush quantity of the tunnel.The results show that when the TBM is advancing downhill,the groundwater mainly gathers at the working face,and drainage needs to be carried out along with the tunneling.When the tunneling changes from downhill to uphill,the groundwater mainly gathers at the lowest point of the tunnel,and the drainage capacity at the lowest point needs to be strengthened.Considering the damage to the groundwater environment caused by long-term drainage of the tunnel,water blocking measures can be taken for large water outlet points.The practice in the TBM construction section shows that the water inrush treatment measures are relia-ble and effective,and the treatment measures can provide a reference for similar projects.
