大波动工况下长廊型气垫式调压室三维数值模拟研究
Three-Dimensional Numerical Simulation Study of Long Corridor Type Air Cushion Surge Chamber under Large Fluctuation Working Conditions

Abstract
The air cushion surge chamber has unique advantages in regulating water flow fluctuations under complex terrains,especially in mountainous areas.However,the dynamic laws of the water level,temperature,flow velocity,and turbulent vortices in the air chamber of the surge chamber under pressure changes are still not clear.In order to explore the dynamic characteristics of the long corridor type air cushion surge chamber under extreme working conditions,based on the CFD three-dimensional numerical simulation and the VOF model,the chan-ging processes of its water level,pressure,flow velocity,and temperature were analyzed.The results show that the fluctuations of the water level,temperature,flow velocity,and the vortices are all closely related to the pressure changes.The highest water level is 9.74 m and the lowest water level is 5.02 m,both of which are near the inlet of the surge chamber.The pressure change laws of the air and water in the air chamber are consistent.The pressure distribution is uniform.The maximum air pressure is 5.80 MPa and the maximum water pressure is 5.84 MPa,and the pressure is greater near the water surface.During the pressurization stage,the gas temperature first rises and then drops.The flow directions of the air and water are opposite.The peak values of the flow velocity fluctuations decrease.The vortices are mainly dis-tributed in the middle of the surge chamber,and the volume of the vortices first decreases and then increases with the pressure change.Dur-ing the decompression stage,the flow intensity decreases and the number of vortices reduces.The results of the three-dimensional simulation more accurately reflect the dynamic change characteristics of the air cushion surge chamber under extreme conditions,which can provide a theoretical basis for the design and optimization of the air cushion surge chamber.关键词
