Abstract
The submergence degree of the breast wall in the suction basin of the pump house directly affects the flow velocity distribution state in the suction basin.In order to analyze and study the influence law of the submergence depth of the breast wall in the suction basin of the pump house on the flow velocity,combined with the actual situation of the circulating pump house project of a certain power plant,a physical model test of the suction basin of the pump house was carried out to study the hydraulic characteristics in the suction basin when the submergence depth of the breast wall in the suction basin of the pump house is different.The results show that when the inlet flow channel is at the maximum water intake flow rate,with the increase of the submergence depth of the breast wall in the suction basin,the deviation between the flow velocity of any measuring point on the G and H velocity measuring sections of the suction basin and the av-erage flow velocity on the horizontal line of this measuring point decreases,the unevenness of the flow velocity distribution and the weigh-ted average angle of the flow velocity of the G and H velocity measuring sections gradually increase,and the hydraulic performance in the suction basin becomes better,meeting the requirements for the safe operation of the circulating pump.The research results can provide a reference for the safe operation of the same type of circulating pump houses.关键词
