Advances in the prediction of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease based on facial features
摘要
Abstract
Coronary atherosclerotic heart disease(CAD)is a global problem of great concern causing enormous health and economic burdens,early detection and prevention are of paramount importance.Epidemiological investigations have shown that facial features(eyes,ears,tongue,etc.)are closely associated with CAD.These facial features,which are easy to observe and convenient to access,are expected to become new targets for early screening of CAD.This article provides a review of the epidemiological evidence and potential mechanisms of the association between facial features and CAD.Lastly,this article analyses the feasibility,research prospects,and challenges of predicting CAD based on facial features.关键词
