Abstract

The stability of wireless networked control systems is highly sensitive to transmission errors in wireless communication.Channel coding is a critical technique for improving communication performance;however,conventional channel decoding methods typically neglect the influence of prior information about transmitted bits.To address this issue,this paper proposes a prior information estimation method for channel decoding based on Kalman filtering.Specifically,the method first predicts the current sensor output and its probability density function using the control system model and Kalman filter.Then,it calculates the prior probabilities of the transmitted bits based on the prediction results.Finally,channel decoding is performed by jointly leveraging the estimated prior probabilities and the received signals,thus enhancing both decoding and control performance.Simulation results demonstrate that,at the communication layer,the proposed method achieves approximately a 0.42 dB gain compared to decoding without prior information when the control system is subject to disturbances,using a 64 bit LDPC code and a bit error rate of 10-2.At the control layer,the proposed method enables the control system to maintain a lower root mean square error under low signal-to-noise ratio conditions.
