Research Progress on the Function of Senecavirus A(SVA)Protein and Its Antagonism of Host Innate Immunity

Abstract
Senecavirus A(SVA)can infect pigs of different age groups and is characterized by typical vesicular diseases,especially causing high mortality in neonatal piglets.SVA proteins,through interaction with host proteins,not only facilitate viral immune evasion but also manipulate programmed cell death,playing a significant role in viral replication.The main mechanisms by which SVA proteins achieve immune evasion include:(1)utilizing cysteine-containing aspartic acid protease(Caspase)pathways to degrade key receptors and adaptor proteins involved in the interferon signaling pathway,antagonizing interferon production;(2)directly targeting and cleaving proteins involved in the interferon signaling pathway and NF-κB signaling,inhibiting the transcription of interferon-stimulated genes(ISGs)and inflammatory factors,thereby antagonizing the host's antiviral immunity;(3)blocking the formation of stress granule(SG),utilizing the host's transcriptional and translational machinery to promote viral replication.Several studies have confirmed that multiple SVA proteins regulate host cell programmed death and degrade host antiviral factors through the autophagic pathway,thus promoting its replication.This paper systematically reviews the genomic structure of SVA,the function of its proteins,the various immune evasion pathways,and the mechanisms of inducing programmed cell death,providing theoretical support for further exploration of the infection mechanisms of SVA and the host's antiviral immune pathways.关键词
