Abstract
This case report describes an 11-year-old spayed female Shetland Sheepdog that was presented with hyperkeratosis of the footpads and gingival erythema.Initial evaluation, including physical examination, laboratory testing, and histopathological analysis of the footpad and gingival tissue, led to a preliminary diagnosis of pemphigus. The dog was treated with prednisone for three months;however, the condition deteriorated progressively. The patient was eventually euthanized due to worsening clinical signs.A necropsy was performed postmortem, and based on histopathology and immunohistochemical staining,a final diagnosis of epitheliotropic T-cell lymphoma was confirmed, with involvement of the liver, spleen, and peripheral lymph nodes. This report outlines the diagnostic process in detail, aiming to provide a reference for the diagnosis and management of similar cases.关键词
