Abstract
Objective Exploring the application and effectiveness of the IFHP model to hearing and speech rehabilitation for young children with hearing impairment.Methods Through observation,interview,auditory language assessment,and a 21-month individualized family help plan(IFHP)intervention,this study took a 14-month-old child with hearing impairment as an example to explore.Results There was no significant difference in the rehabilitation effect between the child in this case and the hearing-impaired peers taking the institutional rehabilitation during the same period.The gaps in listening,speech,language and movement,cognition,social interaction,and other aspects gradually narrowed and the child's abilities tended to accord.Conclusion The systematic,standardized,and professional IFHP model intervention has a positive impact on the hearing and speech rehabilitation of young hearing-impaired children and the mastery of parental core knowledge and skills.It is a new model of effective family early intervention.关键词
