Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of intense pulsed light combined with hydroxychloroquine sulfate and tacrolimus in the treatment of rosacea.Methods A total of 100 patients with rosacea who visited Zhengzhou Sixth People's Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were included in the study.50 patients in the control group were treated with hydroxychloroquine sulfate and tacrolimus,while 50 patients in the observation group were additionally treated with intense pulsed light.The comprehensive grading system scores of acne before and after treatment,as well as the total effective rate and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the global acne grading system score of both groups decreased,and the observation group was lower(P<0.05);Compared with the control group(86.00%),the total effective rate of the observation group(98.00%)was higher(P<0.05).There was no difference in the incidence of adverse reactions(P>0.05).Conclusions Intense pulsed light combined with hydroxychloroquine sulfate and tacrolimus has good clinical efficacy in the treatment of rosacea,which can effectively relieve the facial symptoms of patients.Moreover,this treatment scheme has good safety and can be widely used.
