Abstract
Objective This study aimed to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of combining fractional laser with a 5%minoxidil tincture and nanocritic microneedles for the treatment of male androgenetic alopecia(AGA).Methods A total of 75 male patients with AGA admitted to Ma'anshan Seventeenth Metallurgical Hospital from January 2023 to June 2023 were randomly divided into three groups:observation group 1,observation group 2,and control group.Observation 1 group received treatment for hair loss area with carbon dioxide fractional laser,followed by immediate application of 5%minoxidil tincture after laser treatment once a week.The observation group 2 received weekly introduction of 5%minoxidil tincture using nanocrystal microneedles.The control group applied 5%minoxidil tincture externally,twice daily.All three groups of patients underwent continuous treatment for 12 weeks,followed by a follow-up after the completion of the 12-week treatment period.The scalp hair mirror index,treatment efficacy,subjective symptoms,and adverse reactions before and after treatment were observed and evaluated.Results The observation group 1 exhibited higher hair density compared to both the observation group 2 and control group.Furthermore,the observation group 1 displayed lower average proportions of vellus hair and single hair follicles compared to the observation group 2 and control group.Following treatment,observation group1 showed a greater increase in hair diameter than the control group1,and the observation group 2 showed significantly higher hair density and diameter compared to the control group,with a lower average proportion of vellus hair,and the difference was significant(P<0.05).The observation group 1 had significantly lower scores for greasy scalp,desquamation and alopecia than the control group.The observation group 2 had lower scores for greasy scalp and desquamation than the control group,and the difference was significant(P<0.05).Both the lattice group and observation group 2 demonstrated a higher effective rate than that of the control group,and the difference was significant(P<0.05),although mild adverse reactions occurred in all three groups which subsided after symptomatic treatment.Conclusions The combination of fractional laser therapy with a 5%minoxidil tincture and the introduction of a nanocryl microneedle containing a 5%minoxidil tincture can effectively treat male AGA with minimal adverse reactions.关键词
