Abstract
Objective To summarize the evaluation methods and results of pharmacoeconomic studies of meropenem for the prevention and treatment of hospital-acquired pneumonia(HAP),with the aim of providing a reference for the clinical prevention and treatment of HAP.Methods With"Meropenem","hospital acquired pneumonia","economic analysis","cost-effectiveness"and"cost-effectiveness"as Chinese search keywords,Taking"meropenem","hospital-acquired pneumonia","pharmacoeconomics","cost-effectiveness"and"cost-utility"as English search keywords,Pharmacoeconomics literature related to meropenem in the treatment of HAP was searched in China Journal full-text Database,Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform,PubMed and other databases,and the search time was from January 2016 to January 2024.After screening the literatures according to inclusion and exclusion criteria,the quality of the included literatures was analyzed using the CHEERS scale.The model structure and elements,health outcomes,costs,pharmacoeconomic evaluation results and sensitivity analysis results were evaluated.Results A total of 6 literatures were included in this study,involving secondary prevention and tertiary prevention of HAP,and tertiary prevention was the main one.According to the CHEERS score,the total coincidence rate of the six literatures was more than 80%,which showed good quality stability.The research mainly adopts decision tree model.In terms of cost,the main concern is direct cost;Utility values are mainly obtained from domestic and foreign literature reports.The economic performance of Meropenem in different studies is different.Some studies show that Meropenem has cost-effectiveness advantage,especially when the effect is significant and the cost increase is reasonable.But in other cases,especially when the incremental effect is limited and the cost increases substantially,it is less economical.For a more comprehensive assessment,the uncertainty analysis mainly uses probabilistic sensitivity analysis.Conclusion The key steps,measures and results of pharmacoeconomic evaluation were summarized systematically in order to provide reference for Chinese scholars to conduct pharmacoeconomic evaluation of meropenem for the prevention and treatment of HAP,and to provide scientific basis for promoting the rational clinical application of meropenem and health decision-making.关键词
