摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of modified Taohong Siwu Decoction(No.1 Orthopedic Formula)in the treatment of ankle joint fractures with reduction method plaster external fixation.Methods Eighty patients with ankle joint fractures admitted to Tianshui Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from February 2022 to February 2024 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group by the random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.All patients were treated with external fixation with plaster based on the reduction method.The control group received conventional anti-infection treatment after fixation,while the observation group was treated with modified Taohong Siwu Decoction(No.1 Orthopedic Formula)on the basis of the control group.The excellent and good rates of ankle joint function,changes in limb swelling and pain levels before and after treatment,and the results of short-term and long-term imaging examinations were compared between the two groups of patients.Results Compared with the control group,the excellent and good rate of ankle joint function in the observation group was higher(P＜0.05);Before treatment,there was no difference in the degree of swelling and the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the degree of swelling and the VAS score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there was no difference in the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-1(IL-1),and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the levels of IL-6,IL-1,and TNF-α in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Before treatment and immediately after treatment,there was no difference in the tibiofibular space(TFCS),medial malleolus space(MCS),and tibioankle Angle(TCA Angle)between the two groups(P＞0.05).Six months after treatment,TFCS and MCS in the observation group were smaller than those in the control group(P＜0.05),and TCA was larger than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion For patients with ankle fractures treated by external fixation with reduction method plaster,adding modified Taohong Siwu Decoction(No.1 Orthopedic Formula)after the operation can improve the ankle joint function of the patients,reduce the short-term limb swelling,pain and inflammatory response after the operation,and further enhance the reduction effect and improve the long-term imaging manifestations of the ankle joint of the patients.关键词
