Abstract
Objective:To compare the therapeutic effects of Escitalopram combined with modified electroconvulsive therapy(MECT)and Escitalopram combined with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)in the treatment of patients with major depressive episode.Method:Sixty patients diagnosed with major depressive episode in Zhangzhou Fourth Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected.By the random number table method,the 60 patients were divided into two group A and group B,with 30 cases in each group.Group A was treated with MECT on the basis of oral Escitalopram treatment.Group B was treated with rTMS on the basis of oral Escitalopram treatment.The Hamilton depression scale-17(HAMD-17)score and the Chinese version of Beck suicidal ideation scale were compared between the two groups.The therapeutic effect was evaluated by the reduction rate of HAMD-17 score and the reduction of clinical symptoms.Result:There were no statistically significant differences in the HAMD-17 scores and the result of Chinese version of Beck suicidal ideation scale between the two groups before treatment and after 8 weeks of treatment(P>0.05).However,the result of Chinese version of Beck suicidal ideation scale was statistically significant at the end of the fifth week(P<0.05),that in group A was better than that in group B.There was no statistically significant difference in the reduction rate of HAMD scores between the two groups after 8 weeks of intervention(P>0.05).Conclusion:The comparison between Escitalopram combined with MECT and Escitalopram combined with rTMS in the treatment of major depressive episodes shows that both have a good effect on depressive disorder,which can quickly control depressive symptoms,reduce the risk of suicide,and have similar improvement in symptoms.However,at the end of the fifth week,Escitalopram plus MECT has a significantly greater improvement in suicidal ideation than Escitalopram plus rTMS.关键词
