Abstract
Objective:To investigate the application effect of Xuesaitong combined with Edaravone in elderly patients with cerebral ischemic stroke(CIS).Method:Seventy-four elderly CIS patients admitted to Zhangshu People's Hospital from January 2022 to September 2023 were selected as the study objects,and were randomly divided into observation group(n=37)and control group(n=37).Both groups received conventional symptomatic neurological treatment,on the basis of which the control group received Edaravone treatment,and the observation group received Xuesaitong combined with Edaravone treatment,and both groups received continuous treatment for 14 days.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared,the neurological function of the patients were assessed by the national institutes of health stroke scale(NIHSS),the serum levels of hypersensitive C reactive protein(hs-CRP)and D-dimer(D-D)were detected by immunoturbidimetry,and the occurrence of adverse reactions during treatment was recorded.Result:During the study period,2 patients in the observation group were lost to follow-up,and 2 patients in the control group withdrew from the study due to personal reasons and did not complete the treatment cycle,and 35 patients in the observation group and 35 patients in the control group were final.After treatment,the total effective rates of the observation group and the control group were 91.43%and 71.43%,respectively,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 7 and 14 days of treatment,the NIHSS score,serum hs-CRP and D-D levels in the observation group were lower than those before treatment and those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Applying Xuesaitong combined with Edaravone in the treatment of elderly patients with CIS can promote neurological function recovery,reduce the levels of serum hs-CRP and D-D,and does not increase adverse reactions.关键词
