桑白皮汤加减对痰热壅肺型慢阻肺急性加重期患者气道炎症及铁代谢的影响
Effects of Modified Sangbaipi Decoction on Airway inflammation and Iron Metabolism in Patients with Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease with Syndrome of Phlegm-Heat Obstructing Lung

Abstract
Objective:To explore the effects of Modified Sangbaipi Decoction on airway inflammation and iron metabolism in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD)with syndrome of phlegm-heat obstructing lung.Method:A total of 106 patients with AECOPD with syndrome of phlegm-heat obstructing lung treated in Liuzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from June 2022 to July 2024 were selected for the study.The patients were divided into two groups according to random number table method,with 53 cases in each group.The control group was treated with western medicine(Theophylline Sustained-release Tablets+Salbutamol+Ipratropium Bromide+Methylprednisolone Sodium Succinate),and the observation group was treated with Modified Sangbaipi Decoction on the basis of the control group.Clinical efficacy,inflammatory indexes[C reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-8(IL-8),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)],iron metabolism indexes[serum iron(SI),transferrin(TRF),serum ferritin(SF)]and drug safety were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(92.5%vs 77.4%,P=0.030).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in inflammation indexes and iron metabolism indexes between the two groups(P>0.05);after 7 days of treatment,the inflammation indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);after 7 days of treatment,SI and TRF levels increased and SF levels decreased in both groups,SI and TRF levels in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group,and SF level was significantly lower than that in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(5.7%vs 9.4%)(x2=0.541,P=0.462).Conclusion:Modified Sangbaipi Decoction combined with western medicine has a definite effect in the treatment of patients with AECOPD with syndrome of phlegm-heat obstructing lung,and its mechanism may be related to reducing airway inflammation and regulating iron metabolism.关键词
